It’s not the same. Both the terms private jet and charter flights are used interchangeably.
A private jet is an 8–18-seater aircraft which can be chartered for personal or professional purposes. But a charter flight can be any aircraft with any features or seating capacity or an airliner specifically rented for an itinerary.
A chartered flight is an unscheduled flight that is not part of a regular airline’s routing. With chartering an aircraft, you rent the entire aircraft. A private jet charter, however, is totally controlled by the individual client or company when they want to fly. They will be having full control over their schedule and departure and arrival points.
Now coming to the available aircraft and which one to opt for?
We have a lot of variety of aircraft on offer which includes single-engine turbo-props to light jets, mid-size jets, heavy jets, and airliners. Seating capacity may also differ as also the luxury features and amenities too. The models are also comprised of a wide range.
When it comes to flying anytime anywhere will be much easy if you are an Indian National. For foreign nationals, it will work by taking the necessary permissions.
